History of Colour TV – Sure Enough EP

Sure Enough.

My wife and I have known Jaike for a long time. We put out a few albums of his old band Safeashome on our Safranin Sound label we ran a few years ago. This summer, while we were in France, we got to meet him for the first time. (Seeing Slowdive no less!)

He makes awesome music and his new band The History of Colour TV has a great record out now on Saint Marie Records called When Shapes of Spilt Blood Spelt Love. This EP follows that album. It’s got a wonderful warm analog sound with lots of dynamics and is a perfect addendum to the LP. It was a lot of fun working on this.

It’s available on cassette and the design looks very cool. Stefanie, whom we also got to meet w/ Jaike did the art and design. You can find it and their other releases on Bandcamp.
